About The Clinic

Since 2015, Marshall Physiotherapy has been helping clients from athletes to office workers, children to retirees, recover from injury and achieve their health, fitness and wellbeing goals.

A holistic view of physical health is practiced which ensures clients are listened to and treatment is specific to their needs.

Treatment can include; prescribed exercise, manual therapy, education, acupuncture and using a shared decision process we ensure we provide the best individualised treatment for you.

After your treatment it is hoped that you will feel better, with symptoms relieved but also have an increased awareness about your body and how to best manage it and prevent further injury.

Treatment will be completed in a private clinic room with access to the studio or gym for rehabilitation exercise as needed

Visit The Clinic

The Physiotherapy clinic is located in the Malang Room in Kingsley House.

Please ring the bell at the front door for the Malang room. We can then remotely open the front door and you can make your way through the corridor and down the stairs to the waiting area.

Make yourself comfortable, your Physiotherapist will meet you here.

If you struggle with stairs, there is a rail and your Physiotherapist can either meet you at the front door or can accompany you in a different entrance which only has one small step.

Marshall Physiotherapy is in the same grounds as the Hummingbird café if you fancy a coffee before or after your visit.

There are bus services running through Chudleigh with bus stops close by, 25 metres down the road.

There are some free parking spaces on Fore Street outside Kingsley House, with further spaces in either direction within a few minutes’ walk.  Alternatively, the Market Way car park by the Co-op and Library is just a few minutes’ walk away.

Indemnity – We confirm that the physiotherapists hold the appropriate professional indemnity insurance, are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

HCPC REGISTERED: All qualified Chartered Physiotherapists are registered by the HCPC. This means that they have to abide by strict standards and ensure they are up to date with knowledge and skills. They are monitored to ensure that these standards are met.

CSP REGISTERED: Being registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) means that physiotherapists must follow a strict code of conduct, including professional values and behaviour, centred around the needs of clients.

You can pay by cash, card or BACS transfer.  We have access to a SumUp machine at the clinic to take contactless card payment.  Receipts and invoices can be provided on request.

What do I need to wear to my appointment?2024-04-09T15:57:32+01:00

During your assessment you will be asked to demonstrate your movement and mobility.  You may be asked to remove outer clothing to allow observation of your movement or posture.  This will be fully explained to you and your consent sought.  If you are uncomfortable with this please discuss with the physiotherapist and they will advise on how the assessment can be adapted or alternative clothing that can be worn.  Please ensure you are wearing something that you feel comfortable in and your movement is not restricted.

Following your assessment your physiotherapist will explain their findings and appropriate treatment options based on your individual needs. The number of sessions and length of sessions will be discussed with you and will be guided by your treatment plan and goals.

How do I know whether to book a 30 minute or 60-minute first session?2024-05-30T11:24:55+01:00
